Based in South Essex, I am a warm, open, friendly and qualified counsellor. I enjoy walking in nature with my Labradoodles taking in the fresh air.

I am experienced in working with issues of cancer diagnoses, dementia diagnoses especially Younger People (under 65) and those with caring responsibilities.
We all need support from time to time, counselling can provide you with dedicated time and space to be heard increasing your self-awareness and allowing you to see things differently.
I have a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a member of the BACP.
I currently work part time supporting younger people diagnosed with Dementia to live well with their diagnosis including providing support for their family and friends.
I am also a Volunteer Counsellor at a local Treatment and Recovery service providing 1-2-1 counselling sessions for young people and adults along with facilitating other group psychoeducational interventions, such as Understanding Anxiety and Depression Workshops and Peer Support Groups.
Prior to my work in counselling I worked for many years supporting lonely, isolated and vulnerable people to increase their confidence, independence and access to their local communities.
My main passion in life is to support and empower others, which is why I love being a counsellor.
I am fully qualified, fully insured, ICO registered and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
